KCFS is a U.L. Certificated Fire Alarm Company which was established in 2001 by Alan and Tony Barrero. KCFS’ Technical Organization and Design was developed in 1984 by the Barrero's under a separate title. Although continually adapting to changing Life Safety Codes, our organization’s primary stand remains: “Provide and design outstanding systems to meet Code requirements with seamless and incomparable customer service.” Our involvement in the community for nearly twenty-five years has allowed us to work closely with local Architects, Electrical Engineers, City Government Officials, and Fire Jurisdictions. You will find our reputation as individuals and as an organization, impeccable. References are available upon request. In part to our company structure, KCFS' Technical Department is prepared for deployment at any moment a customer may need assistance. Our Technicians are issued stocked company vehicles and are dispatched within a moment’s notice from the closest point of the after-hours emergency. During regular business hours, our technicians are located in the Greater Kansas City Area. KCFS Technicians have a response time of 2 hours in cases of Fire Alarm Emergency, 4 hours in cases of Fire Alarm related Troubles, and a 24-hour Guaranteed Service Call Response in regards to non-related Fire Alarm Emergencies.

Technical Experience Every KCFS Technician receives factory training and in-house training on a regular basis. All Projects are managed by a Lead Technician with the accompaniment of a trained Technical Apprentice. Our Technical Apprentices have completed Electronic Training Classes and/or have fulfilled extensive "On-the-Job" Training. Due to continual advancements made in the Fire Protection and Security Industries, KCFS' Technical Support Team receives on-going training. |
